Time2Talk is a Daventry based registered charity that started off in the late 1980s. We worked out of an old school caretakers house in North Street (where the Arc cinema is now) and moved to our current location in The Abbey in 1998. It’s where the town library is these days. We try and make our service as accessible as possible and the building has a lift and disabled loos and plenty of free parking for up to 3 hours along with lots of parking for blue badge holders as well. The main bus station is just a five-minute walk away. We work with young people mainly aged 11-18 and up to 25 with a SEND, along with information for parents and carers who live in Daventry district and South Northamptonshire. We are members of the REACH collaboration, a network of likeminded agencies that can be found all over Northamptonshire. You’ll find their details under that bit on the website. Our small team are friendly and approachable but always professional.
Our team
Time2Talk is overseen by a board of volunteer trustees. We then have an agency Chief Operating officer along with a data and information bod and staff counsellor who also covers Towcester. Supporting them is a small team of dedicated self-employed counsellors.
