Time2Talk's summer garden party, our annual fundraising event, was held this Wednesday at the Old Bakery.  The event was a huge success, a profit of £251.43 was made, but even more important was that the ever threatening rain held off long enough for our visitors to enjoy the wonderful garden on display.

We would like to thank everyone who turned up and made donations, and of course, Johnnie Amos for allowing Time2Talk the use of his garden once more.

You can catch Johnnie on Sunday mornings, on BBC Radio Northampton from 9am.

Time2Talk urges young people to take health seriously

In the light of shocking government figures recently released showing a 58% increase in sexually transmitted diseases in the under 16’s over a four year period, a Daventry based charity is promoting its Chlamydia screening programme to young people across Northamptonshire.

Time2Talk is a counselling based service based at The Abbey in Daventry and one of the key services it offers is screening for Chlamydia in 15 – 24 year olds. It’s an infection which can often go undetected and if left untreated may result in pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility.
